What is Style Weekly?
Style Weekly is Greater Richmond’s alternative newsweekly. Our
circulation is independently audited (Verified Audit Circulation), and
our readership is measured (Scarborough Research, Inc.). Style is owned
by Landmark Communications Inc.
Landmark is a privately held media company with interests in newspapers,
television broadcasting (including cable TV’s The Weather Channel),
programming and electronic publishing. Landmark is based in Norfolk,
Va.
Founded in 1982, Style is approaching its 26th anniversary as the region’s
alternative voice in news, culture, arts, opinion, calendar information
and creative thought. Style readers are fiercely loyal to our award-winning
content.

- VPA Sweepstakes Award 2001-2004
- 2004 Award of Excellence from the International Society of Newspaper
Design.
- In 2005 (our first year of eligibility under new bylaws), Style
was accepted into the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies, after
winning approval through a rigorous, juried review process.
